Aldine ISD Needs 550 Volunteers to Help Recover Dropouts
On Saturday, September 08, 2012, volunteers will meet at Aldine High, Davis High, Eisenhower High, MacArthur High, Nimitz High and Hall Center for Education to join forces in an effort to encourage dropouts to return to school.
Volunteers will report to an assigned high school at 8 a.m. for training, receive information helpful for making home visits, and begin visiting students at 9 a.m. By noon, all volunteers will return to their assigned high school with written information gathered from the home visits. Volunteers who are not employed with Aldine ISD will need to bring a state drivers license or state identification card to scan through the Raptor system for a criminal background check.
