Leadership

Teamwork and leadership are words that best describe the cooperation and roles of The Board of Education of Aldine Independent School District, the superintendent of schools, and her administrative team - deputy, assistant, and area superintendents - in raising academic achievement for all students. The seven-member school board establishes the overall policies that govern the school district, and the superintendent and her staff set goals and implement the procedures necessary to carry out these policies in classrooms on a daily basis. Moreover, board members (trustees) and administrators work together to provide the leadership crucial to overcoming the challenges faced by Aldine ISD, which enjoyed six consecutive years as a Recognized school district.
