Technology Services | Desktop Support
Robert Faber
Supervisor of Repair Services

Robert began his career in Aldine back in 1989 as a volunteer at Dunn Elementary teaching students desktop publication on the Commodore 64 computers. From there Robert became a substitute teacher and taught at several schools throughout the district. In 1992 he was hired on at Aldine Senior High as an attendance aide. Robert was put in charge of the computer that called the students’ home at night when they were absent. With no manual and no training Robert quickly became an expert on the unit and was called upon from the district level to assist other schools in getting this technology up and running. This led to Robert becoming the head attendance clerk over at Nimitz High School where in his spare time he enhanced his troubleshooting skills by helping the assistant principal take care of computer issues that occurred on the campus from day to day. In 1998 Robert came to Technology Services as a computer repair technician. Robert advanced his skills during this time and in 2000 he became the Computer Repair supervisor. Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Harris and holds an Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems. He also holds numerous industry certifications in the IT field and was an Aldine ISD graduate of Nimitz High School in 1986.
