MISSION STATEMENT

The faculty, staff, students and community of Teague are devoted to academic excellence and the cultivation of individual strengths and talents in a supportive environment where individual differences and respect for the rights of others guide students to become responsible citizens.

Teague is a 7th and 8th grade campus in the Aldine Independent School District.

Teague's students proceed to Nimitz 9th Grade School upon graduation from 8th grade.

Teague's student population is made up of 7th and 8th grade students from many diverse cultures. Our academic year runs from August 27th through June 6th. Our school day begins at 8:45 am and ends at 4:15 pm, followed by extracurricular activities until 5:35 pm. Students may enter the building no earlier than 8:10 AM.

STUDENT STANDARDIZED DRESS EXPECTATIONS

Students are expected to comply with the following standardized dress policy.

- All clothing must fit appropriately,
and ALL shirst MUST be tucked (no blousing)

- Solid colored polo-style shirts
   (white, gray, purple, or black)

- Undershirts must be the approved colors

- Pants must be black or khaki

- Solid colored
belts

- Skirts and shorts must approach the knee

- Jeans of any kind are NOT permitted

- Clear or mesh backpacks only

 ** Students will be provided with identification (ID) badges that must be worn at all times while on campus. Replacements are $5 **
