International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme
Eisenhower Ninth Grade School was built in 1998 to serve the increasing student population in the Northwest Aldine area. One of five ninth grade centers in Aldine, Ike 9 embodies Aldine's commitment to ensure that high school freshman are successful. Seventy professional staff members and a three-member administrative team service approximately 650 students. Classes are conducted on a 5-block schedule, with 90 minute block each day. Regular, Honors, Gifted and Talented, Special Education, and ESL classes are available. Because we stress the importance of academic success, students are enrolled in core classes all year. This is in an effort to ensure a solid foundation for future success. Nine departments are housed on our campus: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Special Education, Foreign Language, Career and Technology, Fine Arts, and Physical Education.
