October 22 - 26, 2012  

Monday - Red Ribbon Day:  Drug Awareness Slogans - Each class will wear a red ribbon and sign the banner outside the hallway entrance for Red Ribbon Week.
Tuesday - We're Red Hot Against Drugs: The faculty, staff, and student body are asked to wear red shirts symbolic of keeping our school drug free.  Each class will tie a red ribbon on the door as a reminder to not do drugs.
Wednesday - Shade  Out Drugs:  The faculty, staff, and student body are asked to wear sunglasses symbolic of shading out drugs. Each students will sign an individual pledge card.
Thursday - Hats Off to a Drug Free Life:  The faculty, staff, and student body are asked to wear a hat symbolic of living a drug free life.The students can write and/or draw a picture in their writing journals about what it means to be drug free, how they are going to stay drug free, or why it’s good to be drug free.
Friday - Team Up & Sock It To Drugs:  The faculty, staff, and student body are asked to wear their favorite team shirt or spirit shirt along with a pair of crazy socks symbolic of teaming up and socking it to drugs.

C.H.I.C.K.E.N. Club Program:  All Fourth Grade students will be invited to join the CHICKEN Club. CHICKEN is an acronym which stands for Cool, Honest, Intelligent, Clear- Headed, Keen, Energetic, and Not Interested in Drugs
