The coaching staff here at Plummer Middle School is excited about the 2012-12 school year. We plan to exceed the success that we had during the 2011-12 school year.

Athletic Participation Fee- There is a one time $30.00 fee in order to participate in any sport. If a family has more than one family member participating, the fee for the second family member is $25.00.
Physical Examination- All students must have a physical examination completed by a physician before they will be allowed to participate in any sport. We recommend that you take your child to your family physician for their physical examination. In the event that you are not able to take your child to your family physician, physical exams will be given here at the school on Thursday, August 23 from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost is $20.00. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY DATE FOR PHYSICAL EXAMS HERE AT THE SCHOOL. Physical forms can be picked up in the front office of Plummer Middle School or they can be found on the Aldine ISD website in the athletic department section. The Aldine ISD website is aldine.k12.tx.us.
Proof of Medical Coverage- All athletes must have proof of medical coverage before they will be allowed to participate in any sport. Medicaid, CHIPS, Employer sponsored insurance plans, etc. are acceptable. If you do not have insurance coverage, coverage can be purchased through the school.

THERE WILL BE AN IMPORTANT PARENT MEETING FOR ALL PARENTS AND STUDENTS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN ATHLETICS. THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 21 AT 6:00 PM. WE ENCOURAGE ALL PARENTS AND STUDENTS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING!
